And here is  a bit of explaination for people who ask "Why doesn't Pinky strike Brain back ?" Brain is the alpha in that cage. Pinky has grown bigger and stronger than Brain and he _could_ challenge him. But as long as Pinky does not challenge Brain, Pinky remains the beta and must submit. Brain _ccannot_ step down of his own.

Personally, I think Brain often "alphaes" Pinky without realizing it. Living with less submissive mice may jolt him into awareness.
